Taking care of your furniture
Leather
Leather and can be cleaned with products that are meant to clean leather. Most automotive leather cleaners will work. Pretest an inconspicuous area before proceeding and do not over wet.

Hand Polished Aluminum
To maintain the shine and integrity of hand-polished aluminum, it’s essential to clean it gently and regularly. Use a soft microfiber cloth with a mild, non-abrasive soap mixed in warm water to remove dirt and fingerprints. After cleaning, thoroughly dry the surface to prevent water spots, and consider applying a quality aluminum polish periodically to preserve its luster and provide a protective layer. Always test any cleaner on a small, inconspicuous area first.
Structural Components
To clean chair components like plastic structural parts, mechanisms, levers, and castors or glides, use a mild solution of plain Dawn (non-colored) dishwashing liquid and warm water applied with a clean, soft rag. This gentle yet effective method helps remove dirt, dust, and grease without damaging finishes or materials. Avoid using colored soaps, solvents, or abrasive cleaners, as these can leave residue or cause discoloration.
